Our most popular series ANiMATO reaches its fourth anniversary this April! We’re marking this milestone with orchestral tribute videos featuring our highest-viewed tributes from 2014-2017 and 3 pieces selected by our viewers!
Each piece will be an expansion and re-orchestration of our original version with a large ensemble. Are you excited to what’s to come? Mention us with #iTSO and #ANiMATO2018!
The first video premieres Tuesday, April 24 on our Youtube page with subsequent videos uploaded on the last Tuesday of every month through the end of the year.
One of our favorites – Cardcaptor Sakura – is returning to the small screen with a brand-new arc! We fell in love with the opening theme “Clear” by Maaya Sakamoto; watch our version inspired by the official trailer
Also, due to the growing love of our original Sakura Symphony tribute, we’ll be premiering a live concert in New York City Fall of 2018! Details to come in the Spring.
Cardcaptor Sakura ~ Clear Card Arc will be simulcast by Funimation starting January 6, 2018.
As the Sailor Moon musical end, one of our Patreon supporters requested a special arrangement of the stellar “Celestial Born” Outer Guardians’ song from the musical Le Mouvement Final. Enjoy this quintet version and perhaps we’ll record a full SeraMyu tribute album!
Enjoy the opening theme from Warner Bros.’ Pinky and the Brain for clarinet, cello, and violin.
Artistic Director Bobbie talks about the current season and future upcoming videos in this month’s Director’s Podium.
One of the most successful non-Disney animated films turns 20 today! Fox Animation’s Anastasia – notable for its all-star cast, award-winning Lynn Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical theatre writing team, and Don Bluth’s legendary strokes – is a nostalgic fairytale look at the tragic story of Anastasia. We grew up playing the popular “Once Upon A December” in youth orchestra, and we’re so happy to present our interpretation for string sextet.
